Hmmmmmm. It would seem that the artist has used some lithography to portray a deep sense of sorrow as well as the classical style of the ancient Greeks to invoke feelings of confusion. This produced on a canvas of mono-print would suggest the artist has some strange mental problems ranging from gender confusion to social interaction problems. Just my two cents.
But surely, the image of a wall shows that he seeks mental, psycological and physical shielding, probably to do with problems including what you said about gender confusion and social interaction. Perhaps it has got to do with the fact that he portrays his feelings as a haemaphradite onto Chanania.
